Ansible IaC Engineer, RHEL Infrastructure

IN THIS LONG-TERM POSITION YOU WILL:

• Design, build, implement and maintain server infrastructure via infrastructure as code (IaC) using Ansible tools

• Integrate with our build and release pipelines, and improve observability and resilience in our service environments

• Work autonomously, solving technical design and development problems

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of experience working with IaC tooling in a cloud environment (i.e. CloudFormation, Ansible Playbooks, RHEL etc.)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous development environments

• A constant desire to learn, improve, and help others improve

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• Experience writing production distributed systems or cloud services

• Experience with PostgreSQL CE databases

• Experience with containerization, orchestration tooling (Docker, Kubernetes in any cloud environment, etc.)

• Experience with Java

• Experience with non-relational database/storage technology (i.e. NoSQL, blob storage, etc.)
